They also offer great sightseeing and are one of the most challenging adventures out there. The Great Plains of the central mainland are fed by some of the world’s most prominent rivers. The Ganges challenges the rafters to the excitement of white water as well as providing food for almost the entire country. Then there is the Deccan Plateau to the south and the Indian Ocean.
